The RMA’s Annual Report and Accounts 2018-19 have been laid before the Scottish Parliament by the Scottish Ministers under Section 13(2) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003.
The report outlines our activities over the past twelve months, with highlights including our delivery of risk practice training to 91 social workers and police staff; the publication of Standards and Guidelines for Risk Assessment Report Writing; and a literature review of the risk posed by internet offenders.
The report details our support to stakeholders and practitioners, and our contributions to national working groups including MAPPA Strategy Groups and Social Work Scotland Justice Standing Committee. The report also provides detailed information on our processes to support the delivery of the Order for Lifelong Restriction.
