Scottish Ministers are seeking to appoint a new psychologist member to the RMA Board. This is a challenging, rewarding and worthwhile opportunity to contribute to the work of the RMA, whose function is to promote public protection by supporting, and developing, professional practice in managing the risk of serious harm presented by sexual and other violent offenders in Scotland.
The remuneration payable at the date of appointment will be at the rate of £5,880 per annum.
The length of appointment is for 5 years starting from August 2015 in the first instance.
As a member of the RMA Board you must spend the equivalent of 2 to 3 days a month on the Authority’s work which will include a full day of meetings at the RMA headquarters in Paisley.
